Donnie has over ten years experience working in marketing and database management, and has worked with Capital Development Services for more than eight years, serving several roles including Publications Manager of the NC Giving Directory. She also worked as the Website Coordinator for Philanthropy Journal in the Triangle area.

A graduate of Longwood University, Donnie's volunteer activities include the Farmville Literacy Program, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), and helping with her oldest daughter's school. Donnie currently resides in the Charlottesville, VA area with her family, enjoys running 5K's, and geo-caching.
