What inspires me is the passion and commitment of our clients' staff and board members. I enjoy rolling my sleeves up alongside them to advise them and teach them how to reach their goals.
I joined the CapDev team in 2004 as the Director of Client Services, where I assisted clients with the various tools and services to help them achieve their campaign goals. Having relocated to Mount Pleasant, SC, where I live with my husband and three young children, I serve clients in a Senior Counsel role. I have had the pleasure of working with dozens of nonprofits in planning and implementing capital campaigns, feasibility studies, development operations assessments, executive search services, and prospect research.
I am a native of Chattanooga, TN and a Davidson College alumnus. I worked in Washington, DC - at the Smithsonian National Zoo raising major gifts for a $35 million capital campaign, along with managing the highest membership circle at the Zoo. After my time at the Zoo, I worked in development at The Field School in Washington, DC, helping to guide the school's Annual Fund, the Alumni Relations Program, and a $10 million capital campaign.
When time allows, I enjoy running, yoga, cooking, and reading. I serve on the Davidson Arts and Creative Engagement Advisory Board of Davidson College; I serve on the board of The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry; and I volunteer at my children's school, Charleston Day School.
