As an immigrant, my life had been touched by the kindness of American society. Today I feel fortunate to be able to support some of society's worthy causes through my knowledge and skills in Fundraising Analytics.
Today at multiple nonprofits, small and large, analytics is proving to be a game-changer in both building relationships and raising funds. My competency lies in identifying and helping nonprofits (with limited staff and relatively large prospect pools) focus on their most valuable relationships. I use time-tested analytical models to predict the best prospects for annual, major, planned and principal giving.
While small nonprofits do not have enough data, large and medium-sized nonprofits are deluged by data. I have worked with all sizes of nonprofits and intimately understand all of their data challenges. For organizations that do not yet have rich data for analytics, I was able to enrich their prospect data using external data sources and thus eventually help them succeed in their fundraising goals. Creating target market segments, analyzing historic data, building insightful dashboards/visualizations, story-telling with data and developing a coherent capital campaign plan/strategy are also part of my core competency.
I have been working at Wake Forest University for about 10 years and currently support its fundraising efforts as its Director of Strategy and Analytics. I have also been a critical part of the team for its successful $1 billion Wake Will campaign. Over the years, my work has received national recognition including the CASE 'Circle of Excellence' Gold Award, and my work has been replicated at multiple national organizations.
