Wake Tech Campaign Chairs Announced

Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh has a big anniversary coming up, and a big campaign in the planning phases to go with it. Approaching its 50th anniversary in 2013, Wake Tech’s board has authorized a $10 million campaign, its largest ever. Priorities include: student success; faculty and staff innovation; and technology impact. 

“The Ripple Effect” campaign will be led by WakeMed CEO, Bill Atkinson and First Citizens Bank CEO, Frank Holding who are co-chairs of the campaign. Other campaign cabinet leaders include: Wake Tech Trustee and Waste Industries Chairman, Jim Perry; Retired Progress Energy executive, Fred Day; Wells Fargo executive Jack Clayton; former Peace College President, Laura Bingham; former U.S. Ambassador, Jim Cain; and Dixon Hughes executive and Wake Tech Trustee, Ron Wainwright.

Wake Tech is one of the largest community colleges in North Carolina, and part of the N.C. Community College System. Capital Development Services is pleased to provide fundraising counsel services to the Wake Tech Foundation.
