“Riding the Wave: Navigating Staffing Transitions,” UNC System Advancement Symposium

Staff turnover is a consistent pain point in many advancement offices, and the shortened tenure trend doesn’t seem to be shifting anytime soon. So, what if we looked at this constant as an operating condition, not solely as a retention failure? In this session, CapDev will lead participants in a deep dive of three topics centered on navigating staffing transitions: 1- the conditions driving retention trends, 2- what you can do to improve retention rates, and 3- a playbook aimed at reducing disruption to the donor experience when you have a staffing transition. Participants will walk away with insights and tools they can implement immediately with the staff and resources they have now.
